Hello Everyone,
We sure had a rainy...thundering....and lightning day yesterday. I had to pick 'C' up from school early for her Orthodontist appointment (to replace her temporary retainers with the permanent ones). She'll wear them for six months day and night, then she'll only have to wear them at night. We were pretty wet by the time we got in the doctor's office. Then to top it all off, our Internet wasn't working last night. Probably something caused by the rain or lightning...
Also yesterday, the UPS guy stopped to deliver 'J's college textbooks I had ordered and he asked me if I had a gun....wasn't sure what he was asking...ha. I said no, and he said well if you had one you could shoot that armadillo that's digging on the side of your house...aarrghh. I was nice...mainly because it was raining and I had to go pick up 'C'...ha. I went looking for it, with the hoe, when I got home but it had moved on. I'll keep watching for it...
Today 'C' had an appointment at the eye doctors, she is trying a new brand of contacts and contact cleanser. But other than that all is well.
Oh, I did finish the book 'Night' on time, before 'C' took it to school.
I'm glad I don't have anywhere to go tomorrow...and it's Friday!!

You would appreciate the rain if you lived in Ne. It not only snows but rains, has freezing fog, sleet, slippery streets, all at the same time. Enjoy your weekend. Get those armadillos, you go girl.

ReplyDeleteYu must have sent the rain on down, we got a bunch! But it is still nice in Florida.
Seems like teeth take a lot of a youth's time now. Hopefully the will have less trouble with the teeth through out their lives. That is a great thought.

ReplyDeleteYes, the phone has that option to set it to where it will "beep" every 15 seconds if there is a message, but I had that turned off, plus when it was beeping, it was like six or seven beeps, not just one. I think it's possessed (LOL).
You must be getting the rain storms that went through SoCal last week.
