I guess it's time to give up the snow...

Okay Lucy, I finally broke down and got rid of the snow...ha.

The header picture is my niece. Mom and I took her fishing last labor day weekend, her first time fishing, but we didn't catch anything. Probably one of the reasons was, that we couldn't buy any live bait because they were closed. Love bugs were bad and they were bothering her quite a bit, so she was ready to go before too long...ha.

The other picture on the side bar is my other niece and nephew. They are the children of my brother who just got married. That picture was taking in Colorado.

We've had the cable company out again...they replaced the cable...and left it on the ground, running from our house down to the road and then down the curb in front of the neighbors to the box. It was there a couple of weeks. They came yesterday morning and replaced the cable with a thicker one and then buried it.....yeah, shocked me too... :)

And the computer company H*ll...I mean D*ll, has been here again. 'J' started having physical dumps after the motherboard was replaced. They came back and replaced the hard drive, memory and keyboard...they just threw the keyboard in.......We'll see if this fix works.

In other news, my stepson is single again. We were hoping, since they have young sons, that they could work it out, but it was not to be.
My Hubby's sister and her youngest son came this weekend. She is in the midst of a divorce also.
They all seem to be doing okay, as they deal with everything.

A little good news, Mom's eye is getting better, but still not seeing as well out of it. Hopefully it will be back to normal soon.

I think I have caught you up with all the goings on...
Have a great week everyone,
Sheila

  3. I think we sould save up a few Love Bugs and send Paula some!!!
Such a great shot in the header. Something about a picture like that, it looks real, attitudes and all.
Divorce seems to touch so many of us now. And it hurts so much. The mutual ones are bad but the disagreeable/fights are terrible.

So glad Mom't eye is getting better. I know she is absolutely tired of it.
BUT Spring is gonna come SOON (I hope). If the rain holds off we can pour concrete and hit the road and enjoy Spring.
    Love ya!
    Take care Sherry & Jack.
PS: Glad the cable buried, hope it is deep!!!!!!!

  7. I'm so glad to hear your Mom's eye is getting better. When she gets all straightened out maybe you can convince her to start her own blog :)

Thanks for sharing pictures of your family. I just love looking at everyone's pictures. Little ones are so cute when they go fishing.

I guess divorce touches every family. It's not easy on anyone involved.

I'm sure I called my computer worse things than H*LL when it crashed.hahaha

I hope you all have a great week too.

I recently met some Good Sam club journal friends and that was so great. I read his last entry and they were going to be coming to Tucson so I contacted Gary and said ..with you so close an we connect somehow and we did have a nice visit. There are full timers from Tennessee.
