Time for school...

Hi Everyone,

Since it is a new school year I thought it was time for change on the blog...gone are the beach and water scenes until next year.

We are all doing well. 'J' started her second year of college yesterday and 'C' started her senior year today. She seemed to be in a good mood this morning, they don't start school until 8:55 a.m., She started at 7:25 a.m. at her old school...and she can wear regular clothes, no uniforms. After dropping her off at school I drove around to see our new town...or village, since they call it the Village of Clemmons.

I made a stop at Starbucks on the way back home.

Still some things to do to get the apartment in order...had to take time for school shopping and such.

Hope everyone is having a great week,
take care,
Sheila

  1. So happy to see you back on line.I like your blog look. How large is this Village?? How many places have you lived since you married your wandering husband??. Thanks for letting us know that you are back on line.

  3. Congratulations on getting settled in. Yes, do tell us more about the town that you are in. Is it small? How are the people? Friendly or in too much of a hurry to speak?

  4. It all sounds good. I love the picture of your mom and
dad, Mom was a knock out! And you were such a cutie!!!
Glad you are getting settled and the girls are satisfied.

Seems like some folk really NEVER settle down.

  5. I guess you are in your new
    place. Are you in Greensboro?
We were in Burlington when I was
in the fourth grade. That is
    close to Greensboro. You are
about 90 miles from where I live.
Glad to see you back. Maybe when
Jack and Sherry returns home from
    their round-the-world tour we
    can get together. My retired
    Methodist Minister Dr. Page
    lives in Greensboro, NC. His
wife was principle for one of the
High Schools many moons ago. She is
in poor health now. So much for
    history. Glad you are getting
    settled.

  6. PS Sheila I guess if I had
read your other blogs I would have
known where you were. I'm slow.
So you are in Clemmons close
    to Winston Salem.
