Time sure does get away from you. Back here for another update. Rick went back to the eye surgeon yesterday. He is healing good, pretty much back to normal on the outside. His lower lid is slightly down but that is normal as the inside continues to heal and graft over the implant. The doc showed him how to massage it to help it along. His vision is back to normal and he can go get an eye exam next month for new glasses or lenses, the ones he has are scratched from the fall. We had a long wait though, his appointment was at 3:30 pm and we didn't get out of there until almost 7 pm. Hubby was getting hungry and a little perturbed...ha. Oh and I went into the snack area to get Hubby a soda and the door locked to get back into the main area (it was after 5 pm). Thankfully there was a young guy that heard me knocking on the door and let me in...ha. Hopefully Hubby would have come searching for me if I hadn't come back... hopefully... :-D
The cardiologist still wants to do the ICD but no date on that yet.
I had two ghosts rocking in my chairs recently... :-D
We are in that transition period where we have warm days and cool days, rainy days, cloudy days and sunshine.
Hubby got a notice for jury duty too, but depending on his surgery to implant the ICD he'll probably get that postponed.
Thanks for stopping by and thanks again for the prayers for Hubby,
Sheila
Hope your husband continues to do well. Looks like the ghosts are enjoying themselves.
ReplyDeleteLooks like the ghosts are having fun relaxing on your porch. Glad your husband is on the mend. Prayers for complete recovery.
ReplyDeleteWE are so glad Rick is doing well. It could have been so much worse. But he is a tough dude. It would be great if the eye exam was the same as before or BETTER!
ReplyDeleteAlways enjoy stopping by your house for a little Southern Confort!!
From Central Florida for another week.
Love to all and hugs to the Big man!
Glad to hear Rick is doing well. Was the wind blowing while the chairs were rocking? It is a little scary. Love you, mom.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad that things are improving for your husband. Recovery takes such a long time.
ReplyDeleteThe video of the rocking chairs is absolutely fascinating - I love it. There is no possible way that the wind could be doing that. You definitely have a couple of resident ghosts.
Continuing to pray for the hubs as well as you!! Glad he is improving!!
ReplyDeletePrayers that your husband continues on the road to a full recovery.
ReplyDeleteHello - sorry I have been absent. Gee your hubs seems to have a lot going on right now. I pray that he gets better and better every day!
