Weekend work...

Hello,

We worked in the back yard Saturday. We moved around a few plants and prepared the dirt. We are going to try to get the yard growing from seeds, if that doesn't work then we'll have to sod it. Hubby attached a thing, that he bought at Sears, to his lawn mower to help break up the soil a little. We had to get youngest daughter to stand on it as he pulled it around, and it could have still used some more weight on it...ha. I took a couple of pics of her on it but am forbidden from putting them on my blog...ha. Hubby cleaned out the garage on Sunday. I helped when I wasn't running errands. I put air in the tires of a bike "C" rides on occasion.

We haven't had any rain lately and it's starting to get near the 100's.

I'll go for now,
take care,
Sheila

  1. Sounds like the yard is turning into a quite a project. With temps hitting a hundred I would think it would be hard to get them to start. When I say them, I mean grass or plants. We missed the big storm that ran clear through our state last night. Tried to watch an hour show aND ON OUR LOCAL STATION I saw maybe 10 minutes of it. Saw the rest on an Omaha station, that ran a crawl on the bottom of the screen..

  2. Glad you are about to get caught up with your yard work. It is hot here we cant stand to stay out long at the time. Your dad had a appointment with Dr. Bob yesterday he changed his blood pressure medicine again. It has been to high since he cut it down last month. Take care, love you, mom
