Hello Everyone,
I am still alive! I have stomped the brake on the passenger side so much I have worn the soul of my shoe off on the pavement...ha. Just kidding, 'C' is driving pretty well, I am not quite as scared as I was in the beginning, but she still makes me nervous. Her Dad may take her driving today, she wants to go to Wally world for something.
I am transitioning into fall, did away with the beach scenes. I think I am ready for fall.
Hubby went this morning and bought us a new TV. The one we have has problems with the color wheel. It still works for now, so we'll put it upstairs until it totally goes out. Maybe it will last awhile since we won't be watching it everyday. It would cost quite a bit to have someone fix it so we decided to get one slightly larger but thinner. The old one is a DLP TV and it is a lot thicker than the LCD, which is what we got. Maybe I'll get to watch a movie on it tonight.
Okay, I'll go for now,
Take care,
Sheila

It is a bit nerve wracking teaching a teen to drive. I remember it well!!! Any gray hairs yet? New ones that is. I love your fall theme.
ReplyDeleteHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE IT WHEN IT IS SOMEONE ELSE!
When we are home and go anyewhere with our granson I give him the keys. Then I just hold that brake down until we get back. Works miracles. Then I say through my teeth, You did good!!! HAHA!
All the time I know he isn't going to hit something, but my eyes don't know that.!
Hang in there!
Love ya!

Hi, like the new blog and the cute kids, lol. Young and Restless is going to look so real on the big TV. Ha. C will be driving in know time and she will want a new car and don’t forget the cost of insurance for teens. Ha. Take care I better get off and get to bed. Love you, mom
ReplyDeleteI am ready for cooler weather but
ReplyDeletedread the leaves falling. I have
to rake and that is a job. Like
the new scene. I should get brave
and try other things but I could
get myself in a mess and have to
call a geek to get me back on track. Maybe some day.

Enjoy your new TV.
ReplyDeleteI don't envy you a bit teaching a teenager to drive. I still use my passenger side brake riding with people who have been driving for years. I grab the dash a lot too.
ReplyDeleteMy brother bought a large flat screen tv a few weeks ago and they really enjoy it. I seldom watch tv but if hubby is here the tv is on constantly.
I love your new header picture. I'm not looking forward to the leaves falling.
I'm sorry I haven't been around in awhile. Thank you for the prayers.
Debbie
PS: Hi Jean!
We are hanging in there. I just wish I didn't feel like I was waiting for the other shoe to drop. I just keep thinking how your dad turned out. I am just trying to get back to being more positive. You have got the most fall like blog that I have seen that really is attractive, and fun. How do you like mom's down to earth comments. Ha ha
ReplyDeleteThank you for stopping by and the advice. Will drink plenty of fluids. And congrats on the new tv.Enjoy it.And Love your fall look.Take Care
ReplyDeleteALBERTA Morning Sheila, Thank-you for stopping by my journal.
ReplyDeleteYes, Papa said he was going to take out one of his 15 year old granddaughters to teach her driving. He is an EXCELLENT teacher and I think from his former profession as a Police Officer he excels in defensive driving. I know he has helped me immensely. It will be interesting if we get a Class A as he is insistent I learn how to drive it....aaaaaaaaaaaagh
FALL is upon us although yesterday out at our cabin it was +30 Celsius and the son went on the jet ski but I elected to sun myself on my neighbours dock in the water.
Blessings to you and yours,
ALBERTA Lori
