I was going to post these pictures on Veteran's Day, but Hubby had taken the pictures of him to work a while back and I had to wait for him to bring them home.
(that's him on the right...ha)
We are all well here. 'C' had an Orthodontist appointment on Tuesday, she is close to getting her braces removed.
I think I am ready to start decorating for Christmas, in the house at least. I need to stop watching QVC and their Christmas decorations...ha.
Lucy, I enjoyed talking to you on your birthday. I hope you are getting all that cake eaten and using all your great gifts.
Take care,
Sheila
Great pictures. Thank them for serving our country. I would have shaken their hands and told them so if I had of seen them. Helen
ReplyDeleteReally great pictures. Would you believe we have had cake ever since Sunday. I refuse to have it for breakfast.
ReplyDeleteI love the pictures. Glad you got them on. I know you are proud of him. I am proud of him and all the vets who love America and have or will defend her.
ReplyDeleteTAke care,
Sherry & Jack from NC
Thanks for sharing the pictures of your Dad & Hubby. They are both very handsome men. My Dad served in the Army in the 50's also, he served in Germany.
ReplyDeleteI bet your daughter can't wait to get her braces off. She'll be smiling from ear to ear.
I hope you're having a great week.
Debbie
Like the pictures. My husband Mel served in the army in the 50's too. He took his basic at Ft. Bliss in El Paso and then served in Japan. Wouldn't it have been something had their paths crossed?
ReplyDeleteOk Sheila, how did you fry that pickle and was it sweet or dill and how did it REALLY taste. Sounds gross. I had to laugh at Joe last night. With my seafood meal at my BD bash, it came with broccoli and Joe told them to leave his broccoli off. He said last night "you even ate the leaves". I said no, all of that green was broccoli. He said I don't like it, and then added he never tried it.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing the pictures of
ReplyDeleteyour Dad and Hubby. They are both
very handsome men. I never have
had fried pickles. LOL. I do stay
busy. I will be 74 in March. I am not aware of my age until I pass a mirror then reality enters
my mind. I do try to push it aside and continue on my journey.
Thanks for stopping by.
Shirl
I kind of thought that was what you meant but I can't imagine the pickles. Mishrooms sound fine. Jack commented on my blog that he had never tasted them, but Sherry had ordered them, but I should not insult the grits. lol
ReplyDeleteWe are down to 4 pieces of cake, They are in the freezer now. If your bird has not thawed today you better sit it out on the counter. It won't hurt it in that short time period. If it is not very big it should thaw.
