Mom sent me a picture of the dress she still has, from the picture of her and I beside the yellow car. I would have never guessed she still had it...is that a dry cleaner tag I see inside?
This next picture is of a car that was in the parking lot at the Winn-Dixie on the day I went to get the groceries for Thanksgiving. For some reason it made me think of Barney Fife...
Well we didn't get any snow... :( unless it came during the middle of the night and was gone by morning...I'll leave you with this thought...
Woohoo....Roll Tide...Way to go Bama!!
Sheila
(PS. no offense to any Florida readers...)
Keeping that dress is something my mother would have done. We only got a few flakes of snow Sat. morning and you really had to squint to see them LOL. Helen
ReplyDeleteCool dress and to think she has kept it that long. You want snow????? I have snow and possibly more on the way. Yucchhy Now I must ask how do you connect Barney fife and the blue dress?
ReplyDeleteI forgot to tell you, it was 9 above zero. B BRRR
ReplyDeleteYour Mom's dress looks like new, it's really pretty and looked very nice on her in the picture. My Mom saved some of her stuff like that in her cedar chest over the years too. The big city closest to us has gone back to black & white cars. It does remind you of Barney and the Andy Griffith show.
