'J' and I went to the 'Christmas Carol' movie. I liked it, it was pretty neat in 3-D. I am still waiting for my snow.. :)
I did the snow dance in the parking lot of the movie theater as we walked to the car. My daughter kept saying, 'Mom, we're in a parking lot', 'Mom, people can see you'...ha. I hope my embarrassing my daughter was not in vain... :D
Mom sent some pictures a while back for me to share...
with Mom and my three older brothers.
Inkin, Blinkin and Nod
(just kidding)
Mom still has the sewing machine.

No snow here either. It went west and upward from here. On toward TN, and KY and on up. Cute baby pictures, We have several pictures made in front of cars when I was smaller. Not many people had them back then so I suppose they were glad to pose in from of one. Of course I am a lot older than you but cars was the love of my Dad's life so naturally we had to pose in front of them. Helen
ReplyDeleteWe don't have snow but it is forecast for tomorrow and more for Wed. You were a cute kid and the one daughter, I think it is C looks a lot like you did at her age. Want cold, yesterday 7 today 15, areal great heatwave.

I love all of the pictures! Maybe your Mom was expecting high waters in that last picture, lol. I loved reading your Mom's comment about still having the dress, 40 years later. I think that's great! Thanks for sharing these pictures with us and thanks to your Mom too. I sure do wish she'd start a blog and tell us some old stories.
ReplyDeleteI hope you have a great week.
