Doctor visit...

Hi,

Hubby did stay home from work today and went to the doctor. They gave him a shot of antibiotic and a shot of a steroid. Also a prescription for a cough medicine. The doctor said he could take Mucinex too. His heart doctor told me Tuesday he could take plain Robitussin, so I will compare and see which will do him the most good. I hope he will stay home again tomorrow so he has a long weekend to get over it.

Jack, you set a craving on me that day you talked about pinto beans and corn bread. That is what I fixed for our supper on Tuesday. I also sliced up an onion. Kids wouldn't eat any, but that is their loss...ha. Then I had corn bread later for my buttermilk.

I ordered 'C' a couple of books to help her study for the ACT and it showed that the Gnip Gnop game I almost got a year ago was even cheaper, so I ordered me one. Kind of fun to have a game from your youth...ha.

Take care everyone,
Sheila

  1. Funny you should say that. I envy the butter milk. Sherry came in the next day and said somebody ate corn bread last night. (She knows I am the only other somebody in this motor home.) I had to use sweet milk though.
Hope the shots do some good and things will look up for...... maybe golf? Who knows?
WE are trying to have cornbread and beans twice a week. Beans are supposed to be good for Colestoral(sp) I hate trying to spell that word. ha!
    Love from down below.

  2. I hope those shots and meds help your hubby. Mucinex is a good med also. I like beans and greens plus cornbread. Love buttermilk and cornbread also. Helen

  4. Glad he went to the doctor. I will take the pinto beans but leave the cornbread off. I always put onions in my beans.
