We had a wonderful 4th of July. My brother Carl and his family were here over the weekend. My youngest brother Shawn and his family got here early Sunday morning and left Friday evening. A friend I graduated with set the boys up with a golf game at the country club on Sunday afternoon (yes, the little town I'm from has a country club believe it or not...ha).

The girls went for a pedicure in Enterprise while the boys played golf. We had a lot of company during the week. We ate good too...ha. Grilled hamburgers, brats, sausage and chicken, Grilled fajitas another night, a night out at the Mexican restaurant and of course a steak night.

Now all that's left are me and the girls. We'll head home on Saturday. Jarin is heading down to Mobile to see her friends today. Cori went down and stayed with friends the first week we were here. I have been reading and catching up with my blogs. Jack I need to find the owner of that 'Alabama RV' so I can buy it...ha.

ReplyDeleteLooks like you guys had a wonderful family time. I know mama & Dad were proud and glad so many made it. Thanks for posting the pictures, It is nice to see families sharing time and memories. Of course mama always looks good. She stopped work long enough to enjoy the seasin I hope.

Glad you all had such a fun time. I believe you when you say you have a country club 'cause we do too in our small town. We also have an air post and a junior college. We also have cows, goats, and such right here in town. lol

ReplyDeleteI like your header and it sounds like you ate good and enjoyed a good time.. Well now, Paula says they have goats, can't beat Lincoln, we have a goat named Christine that lives 2 doors south of us. We have possum, and many other critters.

ReplyDeleteThanks so much for dropping in, Sheila. Always good to hear from you. We sure do love the family gatherings. It is always so good to see everyone and just play. We, too, have an airport and golf course, right next to each other, in our small town. Of course, the boys seem to hit more golf balls out into the woods and the field right here at the house and cabin. I always worry they are going to take the neighbors lights and windows out even tho they are a quarter mile away. HA!
