Tis said...

This is an article written for our local newspaper in my hometown. The late Mr. Hal Lynch (1927-2006) was once an actor (and I think he wrote for TV also) who moved back home. You can Google him to find out more info. But this story is about my Mom's Aunt Ida, who was a sister to her father. I hope you can enlarge it enough to read it. When I open it on my computer I can zoom in, so if you need to you may copy it to your computer and try that.

She and her husband George owned the Royal Theatre, he also owned a couple of
Drive-ins and later a gun repair shop. Mom, add or correct as needed...

  1. Aunt Ida was a lovely lady and this picture was made just a few years before she passed away. I guess you are a happy lady tonight. Alabama 21 LSU 0- I'm not in to ball games but I will have to say I did watch this one tonight. Love you, mom

There must have been some beauty genes on Mz Ida's side cause you mom got her share.

Sherry and I agree from her picture you could see a beautiful young girl, when we met her in person, yep, the girl is still beautiful.
Of course Jett is gonna run her up a tree. hahaha.

  7. Thanks for the well wishes. I am in the process of changing orthopedists. Should be done by tomorrow. I had to sign a release to get my records sent to the new doctor. Think I will be seeing the new doctor next week. Insurance problems again only this one is easier to handle.
