When it started.
The next morning before it started melting...
I think Rylie was a little scared of the snow.
She walked under the chairs to get out, then by the
chiminea to come back in.
We are all good. I've been trying to get some of my books read. I'm reading 'The Help' now, trying to get it finished so we can watch the movie. Bought two new rocker recliners when we bought the house and one broke so called the furniture store, they said we can send a repairman in two weeks. Repairman came, need to order part, ordered it for both chairs since it might break too, takes two weeks to get part. Part sent to old address, even though they have the new one. I went to pick them up, large cumbersome boxes, loaded one in the trunk one in the back seat. Couldn't close the trunk so had to drive careful. Okay, we have the parts, okay we'll send the repairman...in two weeks....finally fixed yesterday. Last week hot water heater stopped working. Could light it and it would run for a little while, but go out again...called, they sent someone out, simple fix. Tightened a bolt basically. Upstairs air conditioner wasn't cooling Wednesday night...says daughter...called yesterday, they came out and adjusted a few things, good to go.
Take care,
Sheila
PS. Okay Lucy, I got rid of the snow blog background, but I did sneak in a little snow.
I just read the Help. Haven't seen the movie. Your snow looks pretty.

ReplyDeleteI'm done with snow. Not that we had any. LOL Yours looks pretty, though. I'm glad you finally got the recliners fixed. Now you can ENJOY them. Rylie is a sweetie. Love your beach motiff. take care.
ReplyDeleteYour snow pictures are interesting. If we have snow, I will post it too. I did...lol.
ReplyDeleteI saw the movie, The Help. Did I like it? Not saying...lol. But I am always the odd man out.
I love getting things fixed or finished. Not that I am swift to get it done. Take care.
Glad that thing are working right now. The snow was pretty. We didn't get any down our way this winter. Helen
ReplyDeleteHey Sheila, I hope that is it for the troubles for awhile. The snow pictures are good, Rylie's tracks (directions) are unique (cute) haha!
ReplyDeleteIt is amazing how things can go to the old addresses even though they have the new one. We only have that ;problem with NY Life. I think they have held onto every address we have had in different departments, although we are assured they only keep one database of addresses. HA!
Good to see your entry, we miss you when you are gone!!
Love from down here, Sherry & Jack
(PS: Lucy will be glad you have stopped snow dancing!)

ReplyDeleteI hope it is not serious with your dad. Prayers are with him.
ReplyDeleteHi Sheila, I am glad your father is doing so well, your Mom too. She is a "wonder woman". My best to all of you. Send love from Tucson, AZ, DD
