Hello All,
We are still here... took the kitten for his rabies and second round of shots. Got my yearly exam and squish so I am set for another year. We had a visit from 'J's ghost the other night.......'J' wasn't back from her grandparents yet. 'C' and I had been watching a movie and started to bed when it was over. Just as 'C' was coming out of the bathroom we heard this loud noise, like a phone makes when you knock it off the hook. I checked the phones downstairs...then I thought maybe it's the one upstairs in the landing because it hasn't been working right. Turned out, 'J' has a corded phone in her room and somehow the speakerphone got turned on!? We were looking in closets and underbeds, in the storage areas...'C' said, this is like we're in a horror movie...what if we find something under the bed...ha. Would have been bad because we didn't have anything in our hands to beat them with...ha.
I texted 'J' and told her, her ghost was missing her...because she turned on her speakerphone.
She finally came home yesterday...'J' not the ghost.
Much to get done....will call soon to get an estimate on packing and shipping.
We finally got a good rain...yesterday and today.
'til next time,
Sheila
Your blog is looking very pretty these days. I've never seen or heard a ghost and hope I never do.
ReplyDeleteI have never seen a ghost either and would rather not. Your blog is pretty. If your Hubby works for a company like he does, (can't spell it will they pay for the moving?
ReplyDeleteI thought ghost lived in older homes not one that was built 6 years ago, lol. We miss J she was a lot of company. I bought 2 hampers of peas yesterday and only got about 3/4 of one shell last night so I'm having to shell peas and put them up today. Take care, Love U, mom
ReplyDeletehahahahahahahahahaha!
ReplyDelete".... And things that go BUMP in the night!"
It is fun to look for Ghosts. REALLY fun when you find IT!
Playing in church once when I encountered one. Later in life mama explained it was her. She had a way of stopping mischief with out confrontation! Fear does that. ha!
I always looked forward to moving, especially if we knew where we were going to settle.
Take care
