It's that time of year again...

Hubby went and got our tax software yesterday. He finished the federal and part year Alabama resident, now we need to print the NC forms. Thankfully, we are getting refunds for federal and AL state, and hopefully for NC too. We need all we can get with another daughter starting college in the fall…ha.

The week went by without a hitch. School was delayed two hours on Thursday for the dusting of snow we got. One morning I heard birds’ chirping when I returned from taking Cori to school I guess they didn’t realize it was 25 degrees outside.

Hubby is out playing a round of golf today…I am enjoying the quiet of no TV. :)

Take care,
Sheila

  1. Yeah, it is that time again. It has been such a pleasure since we have moved our residency to Florida not to have to worry with State forms, the federal is enough.

Love the pictures you selected. I like the sign listing the Fed as a dependant. LOL

    Love from down in Florida!!!!

  2. I know what you mean about the quietness without the TV. When John is gone I don't even watch a favorite show because I treasure the quiet so much and don't have it often enough. Hate tax time and I need to get busy. Hope we don't ever get the state one.

  3. Sheila I also love Snow. I don't think the weather man even listens. I hope we get more and it stays around for awhile. Funny picture of the cat.

Jack says it is warm in FL. He will be home in the Spring. Don't want to think about Income Tax.

  4. It is almost 70 here today. Saw 2 robins for the first time. To early but will enjoy it while we can. There is still some snow on the ground but melted a lot.

  5. We've already had our taxes & got them back. They are officially gone too, but thank God we got refunds. They helped get us caught back up after Christmas!
