Wet Wednesday...

Yesterday was an errand day, I went by the dry cleaner, then the post office for stamps and then the grocery store. Jarin wanted to go see "The Lion King" 3-D movie so we went to the 4:25 show. I bought a bucket of popcorn once before when we went so I can get it refilled for $2.50. I also had it refilled before we left, so I have leftovers...ha. It was cute in 3-D and it's been long enough since I've seen it that there were things I had forgotten. Jarin said there were things she understood now that she didn't when she was little...and yes it still makes her cry...may have to go see 'Shark night' 3-D next time. Need to remember to go pick up that 'Bridesmaid' movie that just came out.

We got our new cell phones yesterday too. I charged them up so we could get them activated before we went to the movies.

We had a steady rain most of the day today and I think it is in the forecast for the next couple of days.

Oh yeah, I almost forgot, I saw our first snake yesterday. I had to move my car so Jarin could go to class and I looked toward the road as she was starting to leave, and there trying to come over from the neighbors was a black snake. I went to the garage to see if I could find something to shoo it away but the hoe and such are in the storage shed. So I told Jarin to run over him (or her?). But she missed and it turned around and went back the other way. I've got my eyes out for it though, I hope he/she don't come back...ha.

Take care,
Sheila

  1. The Lion King sounds great. I have watched the video over and over with my little gr-grandson, not is 3-D, however. Theater popcorn sounds good.
The snake would have had me running..haa.

  4. Will see if I can comment. I think You take after your mom on energy. My husband would like to have that storage shed. Ours is small and block and has been here for 43 years for sure cause we have been here that long. Serves the purpose though. We have not been to a movie for so long. We used to rent. To bad Jarin missed the snake. Get your hoe out.

  6. We have lots of rain. It needs to head up
toward Texas it is really sad there because
    of no rain.

I don't like snakes don't care what color
and how good they are I send them to snake
heaven where they may be needed.

    Hubby's storage shed looks nice.

  7. Love the storage shed (of course). Our Son Jack is here and insists we go see the Lion King, in 3-D. WE have NEVER seen a 3-D even in the 50's. So we will go tomorrow.
