Hello Everyone,Let me introduce you to these little guys. The top one is 5, will be 6 in April and the bottom one was 2 the end of September. They are our grandsons. They were at six flags in Ga. for the 4th of July.
Well I started taking down Christmas decorations today. I hate to see them go. The girls went back to school today.
I didn't tell you but Mobile raised a 'moon pie' for New Year's Eve. I think news report said we 'dropped' it like the ball in times square but no, it was raised with lights glowing and flashing. I didn't go down to see it live, I saw it on TV. Mobile started the original Mardi Gras, and they throw moon pies from the floats, so they thought a moon pie would be a good thing for New Year's Eve. They also had like a 50 pound moon pie you could eat too.

Still raining tonight but hopefully will clear up tomorrow and turn a little cooler, mid to high 60's I think.

ReplyDeleteit felt like springtime out today. but it was still wet . we did loose power for a while/
i have always loved moompies. when i buy a box they just go so fast. the kids dont like the banana ones. i used to but they tate too sweet now.
ahh .\, those are some cuties, your grandsons. they are at nice ages to enjoy too.i sure enjoy my grnds but would love to have a grandaughter one day.
Your grandsons are adorable. If you get A CHANCE GO TO MY BLOG AND SEE WHAT i JUST GOT A picture of. My 11 great grandchild. Moon pies are not just for the south. We used to get them often when my kids were little many moons ago. lol Lucy

Do you think you can talk her into starting her own journal? I know several of us have been hoping she would. My Mom's name is Jean too.
Your grandson's are adorable. We only have one grandson but have 3 grand daughter's.
My hubby loves Moon Pie's but I don't think he could eat a 50 pounder, lol.

Hi Shiela...it is snowing here in Ky...just now anyway...don't know how much will stick around...at the time for school this morning it was 47...by noon it was 33...and now it is 30...oh well...never a dull moment LOL..and thos grandsons...how precious...bet they had fun on all the rides...God Bless you New Year...Ora in KY
