If it weren't for bad luck, I'd have no luck at all...

Hello All,

Thanks to Lucy for the Kreativ award. I'm not sure I live up to it yet, but hopefully I'll get better.

Let me go back a few days to Thursday. Hubby was out looking at something inside an airplane, just before he left for the day, and the floorboards were not secured properly. Needless to say he fell through. Luckily he was not injured other than a scraped knee. He got grease on his slacks and a tear in his jacket. Lines and cables kept him from falling further.

Then there was early this morning, around 4:35 am, someone broke the rear side window of his truck, stealing his golf clubs out of the backseat. He ran outside when the alarm went off so he saw the car and at least three guys. Called the police, hope they catch them, but more than likely they will not. But at least no one was hurt, things can be replaced.

Just another bump in the road of life,
Take care,
Sheila

  1. It is good there was something there to catch the husband's fall, if it was cables.
The breakin makes me sick. I still cannot get over an attitude that your stuff is mine, as long as I do not get caught. I hope they catch the crooks, but in this days an time it is not likely.
I try to keep the same outlook, "Things can be Replaced". I hope things look up from here!

  2. I get so mad when people take things that is not theirs. I hope
they catch them. Glad your husband
didn't get hurt. Hope things start
looking up. You are right things
    can be replaced.

  3. Thanks for awarding me the
Creative Blogger. I wanted to get
Jack to help me with my Blog.
They have been so busy we have
such little time at present, but
hopefully that will change. I worked in the yard of the Historic House yesterday he said he passed and blew the horn, and said I was moving a bench. I plan to do a little yard work today so our paths
will probably meet. Your blog is
always interesting. I need a teenager in the house to work cell
    phones and computers. hee hee

  4. I agree with Jack, thank goodness your husband was not hurt. As for the breakin, all I can say, again is agree with Jack and be grateful one of them did not see hubby come out and take a shot at him. As for the award you always have a cool looking blog and you have not been in it for long. Lucy
