Nice, warm Sunday...

Hi Everyone,

Hope you had a nice weekend. It was warm here. I got out today and cut back our mexican heather and cleaned around the lilies that are in the front.

I replaced our washing machine with a Kenmore, we had to buy a new dryer when we lived in Washington state and it is a Kenmore, so at least they are the same brand name again...ha.

This is a picture of a house they are building across from us. The street we live on ends at our house and the road in front of this house is a cul-de-sac. I took this from my front porch. My oldest daughter says it looks like it should be in Florida not here...ha. I do like those type of palm trees. But some of the fronds or leaves are brown from the cold snaps we had.

Til next time,
Take care,
Sheila

  1. I had a good week-end work at the
Historical House. I can't get in
a frame of mind to start yard work.
You are right the house needs to be
in Fl. Maybe the people think they
are in Fl., don't tell them.

  2. That's a big house they are building across from you. They have completely stopped building new houses here in SoCal. For awhile, they were going crazy putting in new housing tracks all over our valley. Now there are so many foreclosed homes.

  4. It is good the weather is turning to spring. All you folks that have yards can get to work. Shirl will attack hers with a vengence soon.
I never was much of a yard work person myself, just cut the grass. I love pretty yards, I just cannot keep them up. The house does look like Florida homes, especially with the palms. Looks like a lot of square feet also. This is typed on the laptop from the hospital wild Sonny is out for dialysis.Jack
