A day to work outside...

Hi,

We were busy today. We cleaned out the beds by the deck today and planted some new things. Some of the things we had planted there kind of outgrew the space. Hubby moved those to the back of the yard. We put down pine straw back there too. We planted our vegetables also, we'll see how they do. I'm also trying to grow some green onions from seed. We were racing to beat the rain...ha. It is supposed to make it into the high 50's tonight. It is about 61 right now. We did get a little thunder and rain.

Well the countdown to graduation begins. 'J' graduates on Thursday the 21st. She has a friend from Washington state who is flying in on Wednesday and staying through the 28th. A graduation party on Saturday. Then she plans to go up to her Grandparents, probably on Sunday.

Take care,
Sheila

  3. I planted two blueberry bushes
    today. They were loaded with
berries. I have a small garden
planted and I don't know one
thing about gardening. I do have
plants and other things, I guess it's just luck. I love watching things grow it is fun.
