Hello all,
Took youngest daughter to the doctor today, she had stuffy head and sore throat on Sunday with a temp of 100. But she has just been congested the rest of the time, no temperature. She had a little bit of a headache last night so I took her to the doctor today, just to make sure no sinus infection, plus she needed a doctor's note for school. I told her to show her cyst on her finger joint to him while we were there and she was feeling for it and couldn't find it. It went away on it's own, hopefully it will stay gone.
I got my results back on my cholesterol and it was 158, down from 177 last year.
Hubby picked us up four tomato plants Saturday at Lowes. Maybe they'll grow better than last year's. I also bought a tray today to start some green onion seeds in.

I hope your daughter gets completely well soon. Those tomatoes should grow good since it has warmed up some. That cholesterol count sounds better. Have a nice day. Helen
ReplyDeleteGood for you an the colesteraol comming down. I go tomorrow for a pneumonia shot and to consult on pain management. I don't know who to believe on the shot. I got my last in 1995 and she said since I was 65 I don't need another on and my Dr. thinks I need to have one. Think we are back on track, with car and myself. Hope myour daughter is feeling good now. Lucy
ReplyDeleteI came here for some Southern Comfort and you make me mad!!!Cholesterol 158, WOW that is very good! I am afraid to get mine checked again. I just know it is less than the 245 last time, but reluctant to prove it. HA!
ReplyDeleteI just love home grown tomatoes. The only place we get those are at Shirl's. I think she has set her's out already. She says her garden will suffer this year becasue of her 'Social Calendar' but she will squeeze it in.
Hope yours are delicious. Mostly hope the daughter is okay, glad the cyst is gone.

Hi, glad C's cyst went away I’m glad your cholesterol was good. The two tomato plants in the planters are full of tomatoes just hope they stay on and get ripe, I wish you good luck with yours. Hope C is feeling better I've been feeling puny the last two days myself but I'm better today. Take care love you, mom

I cannot get my cholesterol down because mine is genetic and I cannot tolerate the cholesterol statins so I cannot take them.Mine is like 270 or so. I try to watch what I eat and I exercise.
ReplyDeleteI have found that the tomatoes I buy at Lowes do better than the ones I used to buy at WalMart. The WalMart ones always die on me.
