Well I survived my appointment for blood work. Then the doctor asked when I last had a tetanus shot.....hum--over twenty years ago.?! I didn't say that, I said it's been awhile. I have been married almost 23 years and early in our marriage I was cleaning a slightly cracked coffee pot (Mr. Coffee) and it broke and I cut my thumb. I used a bread twist tie as a tourniquet to stop the bleeding. When I picked my husband up from work he thought I needed stitches, so we stopped by the hospital and I received two stitches and a tetanus shot.
'J' had to have blood work today and hubby goes tomorrow, so we'll all get to share in that fun...ha. Their's is just to check things for the medicine they take.
I went by Kohls afterwards and purchased some tennis shoes (sneakers to some) and a pair of jeans, they were both on sale. I could have swore I saw Shirl going in ahead of me...she must have hit the road heading south for some shopping while Jack and Sherry headed to the mountains...ha. I was looking for some shorts but they didn't have the kind I was looking for.

Well I finally got my new stove, no, I haven't cooked anything on it YET, and they were glad to pick my old one up for me and were taking it to the Christian ministry.
ReplyDeleteTo cap it off when the element burned out it did something to a fuse and I'm sure if we had replaced the fuse the top eyes would have worked. Oh well, we have a new stove with all that touch and go maybe when I learn to use it I will cook something, lol. The guys were so NICE I even forgot how upset I was yesterday. Thank you so much for the encouragement. IE is behaving for some reason, today but I would not bet it will cotinue ,It is just crazy and not being able to undrstand the broken english did not help. Our car is in the shop and hope the wipers are all that is wrong. Should get it back yet today. Good job with the browmies.
