(not taken by me, I got it off the Internet)
Hello,
Thanks to everyone who left such nice comments for my Dad.
Nothing much going on here. The girls and I had our six month check-up at the dentist Tuesday, all is well.
When we lived in Kansas we used to get some pretty lightning storms, (if you can call lightning that). It seemed to run sideways. We did get ones that struck the ground, but when it was just in the sky it was nice to watch. I haven't noticed anything like that here. It all seems to run to the ground.
Enjoy the weekend,
Sheila
I made such a mess in the other comment I deleted it.
ReplyDeleteLightening is pretty but scary. It runs sideways here when the storms are strong enough. Thanks for your comment in my blog.
I hope today is a good one for you. Helen

I'm past time going to the dentist. I just keep putting it off. Isn't it a good feeling to get it over with especially if you don't have to go back for a filling?
ReplyDeleteI think parents help kids today with their teeth more. That is great, good checkups.
ReplyDeleteI love lightening, mama finally got tired of making me come in during storms in the summer when I was a kid. Even got hit by lightening once, still love to watch it. Such awesome power. Also like life, unpredictable.

We had a lot of lightening today. I like to watch it but it does get scary when it goes to popping. We've also had tornado watches since early this afternoon. Not near as bad as over the weekend when where I live was under a tornado warning.

We get strong lightening bolts and then their is the harmless, as mom said, sheet lightning.
ReplyDeleteI am glad you have your teeth. I
ReplyDeletehave mine. When my Dad went to the
Hospital for heart surgery (years
past) before going into the operating room. The nurse wanted to
know If I wanted to take his teeth.
I said he would be very mad if I
did those are his own. I thought
it was funny.
