Tires and flats...

Hello Everyone,

I got home from the store yesterday and I noticed my rear tire was going flat. I aired it up this morning and looked it over and found a screw in it. Can I blame it on my husband since he drove it a few days while his window was broken? ha..
Anyway, I took it to my tire guy (yes, I have a tire guy, this is not my first flat...ha) today to get it fixed and I think I might have witnessed a miracle or at least a divine event....... a Man, walked into the shop and with almost no shame asked for directions, he broke the man rule of never asking for directions. Another lady and I were laughing about it and another man in there said his Dad always said, 'You don't stop to ask directions until you run out of gas'....ha. Maybe he was asking before he completely run out of gas....

We are a little cooler and a bit windy here today.

I hope you have a nice day,
Sheila

  3. Hope you didn't do like me when I picked up a screw in a tire. I took it out. Duh!Whoops that wasn't going to work. I put it back in and drove to a tire man.

  4. I'm glad you were able to air the tire up and get to your tire guy before it went completely flat on the road. I use to be able to change a flat now that I'm older I doubt if I can figure out where to put the jack.

I guess the men around here got tired of running out of gas they don't seem to have a problem with asking for directions.

    Have a great week.

I am glad you made it to the tire guy before it hit the rim though. Take care and I can assure you, it was not the husband driving when the screw was picked up. We dodge those things. LOL, of RLOL

  6. When I was much younger and had a job working nights and had to come home on a rather deserted road so I was going to learn to change a flat. I couldn't even get it off the ground!! I could lift it with the jack but no way could I lift that tire onto the lugs..Lucy

  7. Sheila we will hide all the power
tools and sharpe objects from Jack.
I don't think he can handle tools
    without supervision. When we are
here we will limit the time he can
    use them.
