"Hotel Covington"...

If you remember, awhile back I had this picture of the old nursing home 'Covington Manor' that they were tearing down in my hometown...

This is an old picture of it when it was the 'Hotel Covington'.

Hope everyone is having a good weekend. "C"'s birthday brownies were good. She went with friends to the mall yesterday to spend some of her birthday money.
I hope the weather is treating you good where you are. The sun is shining and it's about 80 degrees here.

Take care,
Sheila

  2. Maybe it want be to long before they will start building some thing to replace the old building they have it cleared off. I wish they would build one good eating-place, lol. First they would have to find a good cook. Hope C found what she went shopping for, take care, love you, mom

  3. City's can't wait to tear the
    Historical Buildings and build new.
They don't want to hold on to the towns history.

Glad C has a good Birthday.

  4. Hi. Love these old photos.

I left you a note on my blog where you asked about the Turners.

I have not noticed any of mine in Alabama...mostly Indiana, Missouri and Oklahoma so far but send me some given names and I'll look at my list. Did you know that there was a "John Turner and his 2 sons" aboard the Mayflower?
