Hi,
Hubby went to Lowes Sunday and bought some bales of pine straw and we put that out around our beds in front. He also bought a few plants to put out back but we haven't put them out yet. He cut the grass and something bit him on the earlobe. Don't know what it was but his ear swelled up for a few days. I also cranked the generator to let it run a few minutes, hurricane season will be here soon. Hubby's brother had a heart attack on Sunday, the same age my hubby was when he had his, but he is doing fine now. He got out of the hospital yesterday. He had to have two stents put in. My hubby had his heart attack on Sunday too.
Now to change the subject...my oldest daughter said 'da-da' first instead of Ma-ma. Probably because he travelled a lot for work at the time. So when he called there was a lot of 'come talk to Daddy', 'it's Daddy'...etc. Well when she was about 17 months old we were able to go to England with him for several months. Shortly after going over there she finally called me....Mum....ha. Didn't pick up on Mama or mommy all that time before but just a short time in England and she picked up on the kids there and called me Mum...it's was pretty cute.
Now, her last day of school is tomorrow and she will graduate on May 21st. Time sure passes fast, seems like only yesterday she was starting school.

ReplyDeleteWe saw Dr. Bob this morning and he wants your dad to go tomorrow afternoon and get an ultrasound on his carotid arteries. He has an appointment the 19th. For an MRI of his brain, and we will see a neurologist the 20th, he also cut down on his blood pressure medicine. This is to find what may be causing him to lose his balance. Take care, love you, mom
Strange about the similarities of the brothers. Glad all seems to be going well though. Ah yes, Hurricane season. We bought down in central Florida, away fromt he coast. That same year three crossed the state. Weather dudes said from now on they will cross the state. WE sold. Not one crossed since. LOL

Hey Sheila, those kids do grow up fast dom't they. I would say if your hubby has any more members or I should say siblings, they better get checked out. You know they come through ok but once heart damage it is never the same. I would not mind being saddled with some bills if they could find out what my balance problem is from and stop it. My arms are black and blue from falling into door jambs and walls. Tell mom she is looking good.
