Hello everyone,
We had a rainy day today, not heavy, so it was nice. The temperature stayed in the high 70's most of the day. I could have used this weather on Friday and Saturday. Shirl, I'll try to push some of these rain clouds up your way. The weather people are saying chance of rain and mid 80's this week. I hope they are right, especially the mid 80's part...I went to get the tag for my car today...only took an hour and fifteen minutes. Also made a run to the dry cleaners to drop some clothes off, and to the grocery store. I bought some fresh french green beans that are long, I mean really long, at least a foot maybe more. I have never seen any kind of green bean that was this long. I'll try to get a picture to post.
We had a nice 4th, the steaks were good...sorry Jack. I went out and watched some of the fireworks the neighbors had. We had some but we weren't much in the mood to shoot them off. Good for Lucy, she was able to sleep through her neighbors fireworks.

ReplyDeleteSounds like a great time all round. But the green beans? Are they string beans? WOW I can't imagine beans that long. But it wouldn't take many to make a mess.
ReplyDeleteSherry would not buy me a steak! LOL. Maybe she will to celebrate the 9th. Oh Wait that can wait 'cause we will eat our fill of lobsta torge the end of the week!

Glad you had a nice 4th of July. I am amazed but I did sleep through the fireworks. How is your dad doing??? I have been meaning to ask. Haven't been quite as active. Gonna get with it.

We did go to neighboring town to see them. We had rain today and it
is cooler. I will not be blogging
for awhile I am getting so busy, but will try to read blogs. I only
comment on about five. It takes
more time that I thought it would.

the band I am playing the drums.
We do have a lot of fun. We
entertained last Friday night a party of about 80. They got a charge at the female drummer. HEE

Finally the rain has stopped although I must not be selfish and realise the moisture is much needed by the farmers....it is just brutal for arthritis.
Recently enjoyed our CALGARY STAMPEDE and then SPRUCE MEADOWS (both International venues)
