More shopping...

Hello again,

I went out today and got some stamps so I can send out my Christmas cards. I also managed to buy a few more gifts too. I bought the stamps at a mailing place instead of the post office, it's too crowded there.

It is warm again today and cloudy but it didn't rain. It will be warm a few more days. I hope it is cooler by Christmas.

When the 'Belles' were singing at the airport, they took a break and we walked around and looked at a couple of the many trees they had set up. One was decorated with paper gingerbread men with the face of a different kindergartner on each one. They also had one called 'white Christmas' and it was decorated in white with big paper snowflakes. On each snowflake it told the date and amount of snow that was received in our town. There were snow flurries on Dec. 25, 2004...but we hadn't moved here yet. The largest snow fall was in the late 1800's. If I had known I would write about it I would have tried to remember the exact date and amount.

Maybe when Lucy gets tired of all the snow and cold she is getting she will send some down our way... :)

Well I guess this all I can think of today, so I'll go
Take care,
Sheila

  1. Just have to tell you one more thing. That area was all country when we used to go out hunting, hauling wood for my husband's grandmother and fixing her windmill etc. The only business any where near there was one little country store across from Grandma's few hundred acres.
Did I tell you your blog is pretty and Christmasy?

  5. Please take away the snow! We're going to have a snow storm tomorrow which is good because maybe we'll have a snow day! But I have nothing to do though because my parents doesn't trust me with the car. Come to think of it I think I was supposed to shovel it off the driveway... Better get to it!
