Okay, here goes nothing.
This is my first time blogging so bear with me as I learn the ropes.
Thanks to my friends who have encouraged me to start a blog.
I don't know how good it will be but I will give it a shot.

'R' (my husband) and I went shopping Saturday for a few different Christmas items to decorate with. We got another snowman and a 'penguin and polar bear' on a see saw. Also picked up a white spiral tree. I bought a 30 inch standing snowman for inside the house. We got almost everything put out on Sunday. I had to fix a couple of net lights yesterday that weren't working. I'm quite handy that way...ha. Hopefully will get them put out this evening.

My Dad was in the hospital over Thanksgiving and he was able to go home on Saturday Dec 6th.
He is doing much better.

My oldest daughter 'J' sings with 'the Belles' at school. They are an all girl choir. They sang Christmas songs today at the museum of art, while groups of kindergartners went through.
I went out there to watch and video tape them.
The Museum fed them pizza after they were through.

They will sing again on Friday at various locations, The TV station's "Spirit of Giving" special, a retirement home, a school and at the Airport. There may be other places too.
I will probably go watch them at the airport.

Well I will go for now, hope I didn't bore you to much and you will come back again.

by the way, does anyone remember the game Gnip Gnop? I had one when I was young.

They have them at Books a million. I may have to get me one for Christmas...

Later,

Sheila

  3. You are doing fine and you will love it. So glad you decided to join us. I have never even heard of that game even though I have played many different ones when my girls were growing up.

  4. Hey now that was not so bad was it? Already you are getting the hang of it. Just relax and go with your thoughts. I sometimes have to backtrack, as you know and rein myself in. Glad to hear that your dad is doing much better. At his age that must have been scary.I have never heard of the game either but I may be dating myself. Lucy
