Hello,
See I knew my snow dance would work...we were the only house that got it...just kidding...this is the town we lived in in Washington state. It has been snowing there and my daughter's friend sent her some pictures.
Okay, I think I need to clarify where I came up with my blog name. The inspiration was from the song I have on the side. For some reason it won't play the whole song now, but that is where I took my name from. Since I am southern and I like Conway and the song is about southern girls, seemed a good choice. Now a little 'Southern Comfort' in some egg nog might not be a bad thing. As long as you don't drink so much that you start seeing things that aren't there...ha.
Well I needed to clean up some yesterday so I decided to wait until today to try to do some more shopping. Ora those cinnamon rolls sure sounded good.
I liked Whataburger, my hubby likes mustard on his without mayo and ketchup, so I don't have to special order. Next time I will add mayo and ketchup to mine when I get home. 'C' likes Fazoli's so I got her a Fetticini alfredo from there.
I'll go for now,
take care,
Sheila
PS. it is gently raining again this morning.
Nice of the SnowMan to honor your dance.LOL. Even if it is across the country. You should have specified where you wanted the snow. LOL

well I just figured you enjoyed a nightcap at times..."southern comfort in a cup??" LOL..but your explanation makes sense too LOL..and we will get snow - possibly - or so say the weather persons in our area...but they are not the most reliable...I find checking the window and looking outside does it for me LOLOL...and since "there is no place to go"...let it snow...let it snow..let it snow!!! LOLOL..God Bless all...hugs from Ora in KY
ReplyDeleteHello Miss Sheila,

i thought it felt like snow out there too. it was cold and drizzling rain. if it had gone down 2 or 3 degrees we would have got snow.
ReplyDeletei dont have my pantry stocked well enough for snow yet. you know how alabama panicks , there wont be loaf of bread on the shelves lol.
loved the picture of the snow! bet you are glad you are down in the south and not back up in Washington state!
ReplyDeleteI like how you came up with your journal name :)
enjoy your week ahead
betty
Sheila , take this from a person who has lived in Nebraska, You are lucky to be where you are. Snow and cold always make it one time or another. Most have seen some of the pictures taken when I was a kid on snow. I don't know if you were reading my Journal then mor not. When I get my Christmas blog down I may post a couple if I didn't lose them when I crashed with my old computer. Lucy
ReplyDeleteI'm back. We do not go back to NC if we can help it. It is simpler to let them all have their Christmases and make their own memories. There is a faint desire to go back for the youngest son, since his divorce was last year. It might help, then might not.
ReplyDeleteAnyway Merry Christmas!
Jack
