Hi Everyone,
Hubby took the rest of the junk to the dump last weekend. This was junk that we stacked up when the garage was cleaned out. We put out as much as we could with the regular trash.
This week has been a fun one of paying $$$ tuition, buying books more $$, and 'J' and I got new cell phones. Remember 'C' got hers last month because hers quit working, she was already due a new one, but I was waiting so we would all have one that expires about the same time. 'C' got the LG Dare and 'J' and I got the enV3. 'J' doesn't think an old dog can learn new tricks, but I'll show her...ha.
Well I got a little sidetracked when I was cleaning Thursday. The TV stand in the bedroom has two drawers on the bottom. I had some of my books, that I'm waiting to read, in them and a few that I have read. Well they caused the bottom of the top drawer to fall down some. So I took out both drawers, one at a time, took the bottom off, run some wood glue in the grooves, slid the bottom back in and put some extra tack nails in. Hopefully they will stay together. I also put the books somewhere else since they are too heavy for the drawers.
Oh and Jack I had me two tomato sandwiches this week, they were good. I didn't eat any of the kind that make Lucy gag...ha.

Sounds like you've been a busy little bee. Doesn't it make you feel good to get those little jobs done and over with?

ReplyDeleteI haven't had much time on the pc lately a few minutes here and there. I picked up little limbs and pinecone and pulled up the tomatoes bushes and grass out of the pineapple pots yesterday looks a lot neater. Still haven’t tried my new pressure wash. Take care, love U, mom
ReplyDeleteOh shucks I used to love to go to the dump, I would come back with more than I took, sorta like a free yard 'sale'. Not like htat anymore so it is notfun to go. ha! Oh, I know we will get some good tomatoes in a few weeks. My mouth is watering. I don't think many flavors compliment eachother like mayonaise, tomato, salt, pepper and bread. Now I'm hungry and we just finished two lobsta rolls. A tomato sandwich would have been BETTER.
