Hello all,
Well my daughter 'J' and her friends went to the beach on Monday. They got home Thursday evening. It has been hot here this summer, but not quite as bad as it usually is. Plus we have been getting rain, I don't think we got much last year in July.
It's almost that time again. School starts back Aug. 10th. 'C' and I went Wednesday to register her. She got a teacher for math that her and her sister have had before. We requested a different teacher, because we don't like her teaching skills...or lack of...we'll see what happens. 'C's a good student and would do fine in her class, but I just don't want her to have this teacher again if possible.
Hubby took off work last Thursday and Friday and we painted our daughter 'C's bedroom. She picked bright pink when we moved here in 2005. She has wanted it painted for a couple of years now. So now it is Elephant grey. We told her she better be sure because we're not painting it again...ha. I will post pictures of the room before and after when I get them. 'C' has them on her camera.
Have a great weekend everyone,
Sheila

Our daughter's room is avacado green. I told her I'd paint over it the very minute she left the house. lol

Glad they had fun and made it back. Yes I bet the pink got old pretty quick. We need rain in and close to Lincoln. Ground is cracked and we get sprinkles but not enough to do much good. I am guarding those tomato's with my life. Don't care much for fried green tomato's. Take care.
ReplyDeleteHi, I see you made it back, lol.
ReplyDeletecome on up and you can paint my bath room. Your dad don't think it needs painting. The twins will be buried in the same casket they where so pretty side by side it took almost two hours to get through the veiwing. My heart and prayers goes out to the parents and grandparents.Take care, love you, mom
