Hello Everyone,
School started back today without too much of a hitch. Traffic was terrible even leaving earlier than usual. They are working on the road right near the entrance to the school, so it was stop and go. They also were late letting them out because the buses were late getting there. Oh well hopefully it will work itself out as time goes on.
She did get the teacher we didn't want (she may be the only one that teaches that class), but she was making comments about being better this year. So I'm hoping she was talked too and things will be better.
We did have to run by the orthodontist after school so he could fix a wire in back that was scratching her cheek.
So all in all we survived the first day of school. 'J' doesn't start until the 19th.

Hi, glad C made it on her first day back in school hope she will be happy with the teacher. To day were the first day of school here and the first day in the new grammar school. I don't think I will miss all the traffic that we had from the old school. Lol. I got the barn cleaned out this afternoon your dad came out to help, I sent him back in the house. It took two long hours and it was HOT. Take care, love you, mom

ReplyDeleteI do hope the teacher works out. I remember I got a teacheR I did not want. I cried and fussed until Dad actually got it changed. Many times that year I wished I had stayed where I was. ha!

ReplyDeleteI can't believe that I used to send mine off to school. Seems school is early in your part of the country. I think mine used to start around the first week of Sept.

busy. I think every kid in school has a car. Sure is different from our school days. Hope the teacher will be better this year.
