Red popsicles...

Fall and Autumn MySpace Comments and Graphics

Hi Everyone,

Hope you are all having a great weekend. Hubby's test came out fine. He had one small polyp they took out. So he's good for three to five years. He had requests for food after he got home, Subway for lunch, a frosty from Wendy's and fried shrimp and french fries for supper. Though we actually buy the breaded shrimp and cook them in the oven and fry the french fries. Today, after golf, he has eaten all his 'red' sugar free popsicles he couldn't eat Thursday. Now he is dozing in the chair...maybe he'll perk up when the Alabama game comes on.

Well it was sunny here for a little while today. When hubby got home from golf it started pouring. But it has stopped for now.

Glad to hear Jack and Sherry made it home to Shirl's Always Open RV park. I hope they find the new improvements to their liking....Get them locked in tight Shirl...

Have a great weekend,

Sheila

Just a short note...

Hi Everyone,

Thanks for the nice comments about my blog layout. Nothing much happening this week. Hubby did go driving with 'C' to Wally world over the weekend. She said he was a lot calmer than I was...ha. He is home today getting ready for his colonoscopy tomorrow. I hope you'll send up some prayers that it all goes well.

Take care,

Sheila

Fall is coming...

Hello Everyone,

I am still alive! I have stomped the brake on the passenger side so much I have worn the soul of my shoe off on the pavement...ha. Just kidding, 'C' is driving pretty well, I am not quite as scared as I was in the beginning, but she still makes me nervous. Her Dad may take her driving today, she wants to go to Wally world for something.

I am transitioning into fall, did away with the beach scenes. I think I am ready for fall.

Hubby went this morning and bought us a new TV. The one we have has problems with the color wheel. It still works for now, so we'll put it upstairs until it totally goes out. Maybe it will last awhile since we won't be watching it everyday. It would cost quite a bit to have someone fix it so we decided to get one slightly larger but thinner. The old one is a DLP TV and it is a lot thicker than the LCD, which is what we got. Maybe I'll get to watch a movie on it tonight.

Okay, I'll go for now,
Take care,
Sheila

Oh what fun...

Hi,

Well my youngest daughter 'C' finally decided she wanted to go get her drivers permit. We went Thursday to get it. Effective August 10, 2009 they have to have a form signed by the school that they are enrolled. I checked the website before we went to see what was needed and the form wasn't mentioned. So we had to go back to the school and get the form signed and then go back. But she did walk out with a drivers permit...I am so looking forward to teaching her to drive...yeah right....ha.

My oldest daughter 'J' has a birthday coming up on Monday. So she wanted to go out to eat and to see the new 'Madea' movie with her friends. She and her friends went out to eat first at O'Charleys, then I met them at the movie theater. We had a good time. Hubby had to go to Memphis on Thursday and didn't make it back until about 9:00 last night.

Okay, I'll close for now,
Take care,
Sheila

Labor day and love bugs...

Hi Everyone,

Hope all of you are doing well. Nothing much going on this week, battling a little sinus stuff, just allergy probably. Getting ready to go to the parents for the weekend. My buzzard attracting brother and his family are coming too (See a previous post). Hopefully the buzzards won't be around this weekend.

We welcomed back the love bugs on Sept. 1, they will probably be around until the end of the month. They come in May and Sept. and are a pain in the rear. But thankfully they haven't been as bad as they were after hurricane Katrina.

they fly around in pairs-stuck together
trying to procreate in a short amount of time.
If you don't have these wonderful bugs in your town, be thankful.
Have a great Labor Day weekend everyone,
Sheila
