Happy Fall Y'all!!

Jarin had a birthday on Sept 14th. Her and Cori wanted to try to make 'Groot' cupcakes, instead of a birthday cake. I made the cupcakes and helped a little with the shortbread cookies they made 'Groot' out of or I should say Cori made 'Groot'. It was a fun time and it got the girls off the computer...ha.
We bought a decorator tip to make it look like grass, but it didn't work so well so Cori improvised.

Here is the finished product.

This is what a 'Groot' is...

Hubby had a business trip this past week, so me and Jarin got caught up on some of our shows.

I also temporarily (six hours) messed up my iPhone Saturday, because I decided to update it by connecting it to iTunes on my computer. The update failed which put it in recovery mode, then when I tried to restore it through iTunes, that kept failing also...when I could get it to actually connect to iTunes. But after searching and trying, and trying and searching some more, I finally found something that worked. Now I am restored and updated. Next time I'll just update it through the phone, that was a long and stressful process.

Today was grooming day for the doggies, so they are all fresh and clean again...ha.

That's about it for now,
Take care,
Sheila

PS. This cooler weather is nice...

Fall is just around the corner...

Here it is, September already, and I am way behind on posting. Lets go back a little ways to June. Hubby had a birthday in early June...

My daylillies.
(took photo in June)
We thought we were buying the kind we had in Mobile, but these grew taller. You can't see the rest of our plants from the front...ha.
But there are other plants growing in there... :-)

They should bloom again before long. One plant (the one on the left by the walk) has had a couple of blooms the last few days.

We spent about three weeks of the month of July in Alabama with the parents. Well Hubby only one week. My brother Shawn and his family were there for a week. I got behind in my blog reading during this time but I finally got caught up again.

Rylie (Chihuahua) turned 6 years old on July 14th and Charlie turned 2 years old on Aug 3rd.

Won't be long now before the cooler weather gets here. Time to get out my fall decorations. I hope this season goes a little slower than the rest of the year has.

One last thing, if you pray, please say a prayer for my cousin Judy, her husband passed away yesterday. Thanks.

Take care,
Sheila
