Finally a new post…

Remember the picture on the left from the St*rb*cks drive a few months ago? The picture on the right is the fall version.

This is a soda shoppe we saw in Lewisville, we drove around there last weekend looking at houses.

This was the red pick-up that was parked in front of the soda shoppe. I don’t know what year it is, but I like it.

I think I am going to put up my Christmas tree tomorrow. Mom has already beat me to it, she usually puts hers up in Dec. Most of our stuff is in storage, but I had them put a tree and a box of ornaments where I could get to them easily. I also have a candle set in the apartment I can get to. Might be a few other things in the box, I’ll just have to wait and see. I added my George Strait Christmas CD on my iPod, I already have Conway’s on there. I have a few others but they are in a box too for now…ha. I have also been working on my Christmas cards this week, so I am ahead of the game there too…if I just don’t drag around too long before putting them in the mail… Open-mouthed smile

More kinfolk...

Most of you probably already saw the picture of my parents with Jack and Sherry from 'Shipslog',

Now I thought I would introduce you to some of my other kin...

Hubby had to go yesterday morning to get his blood work done so he went afterwards to get his license, and he passed. He also had the glass people come out to replace his windshield on his truck, since you have to get an inspection with your car tags here. He had a nice long crack in it, plus another had started. So now the fun of getting a tag begins...

In other news, Cori got a 32 out of a possible 36 on her ACT... YAY CORI!!

Thanksgiving here we come...

Okay, there you go, out with Halloween and on to Thanksgiving.

Lots of running around today, St*ples, Km*rt, bank, post office, dry cleaners. I've got to send pictures in, for the yearbook, of Cori, so I needed some cd-rw's.

Loving this cooler weather we are having this week. I think it is supposed to rain tomorrow though.

I got my driver's license in the mail yesterday...they are not satisfied with one scary picture on the front, they have to put it on there twice...but the other one is very small. On the bright side, I think it did look better than the one on my other license. Do like the cool little hologram of the flying plane. Another thing, they don't ask for your weight here so I didn't have to lie...ha.

Happy Halloween!!!

We fixed up this old guy once when we lived in Kansas. You might have to look close, but the pumpkin has the grim reaper and his sickle (or scythe). Maybe one Halloween I'll put something out and then on the actual night switch it out for a real person (Hubby), and scare a few of the older kids...ha.
